Showcase of the Arts

Showcase of the Arts is an awards program that celebrates the artistic talents, creativity, and achievements of S-F students in grades 7–12.  The annual program awards over $3,000 in cash prizes to exceptional student participants. To honor the winners, parents and educators are invited to an annual awards ceremony, providing students a formal platform to present their creative work.

Southeastern Veterans Center

Through volunteer service at the Veterans Center, Woman’s Club of Royersford members honor those who have served our country by sharing their time, talents, and friendship.

Royersford Community Day

Our club maintains a table, offers information and raffle tickets for a prize awarded to a lucky winner during this event where local businesses, food vendors and community groups offer their wares along Main Street.

Gardening at the Library

Our Garden Club plants and maintains seasonal gardens surrounding the entrance to the library for the enjoyment of all who visit there.

Royersford Parks and Recreation Commission

The Woman’s Club of Royersford plays an essential role in sustaining local community programming through its annual sponsorship of Royersford Parks and Recreation, which funds seasonal initiatives and the exciting opening day celebrations at Victory Park.

This Ram Country

WCR has joined the “This is Ram Country” public art project to paint a unique fiberglass Ram statue this summer, partnering with local artist Jennifer Bulson to bring our club motto and core commitment of serving others to life through a design that honors our past while moving brightly into the future at its upcoming home on the corner of 6th and Main Street outside Ivy house.

3rd Annual Holiday Bazaar

WCR will hold their annual Holiday Bazaar at Sacred Heart’s gymnasium.  Check back for date and time.

Reading Groups.

WCR offers three unique discussion groups—Book Discussion Group, Zoomers Discussion Group,, and America 250 Discussion Group—giving members the opportunity to explore literature, history, and current topics while enjoying engaging and lively conversations with fellow members.

Walking

WCR Walking group encourages members to stay active, connect with friends, and explore the beauty of our local community. Regular walks provide a fun and healthy way to enjoy the outdoors while fostering friendship and fellowship.

Social Outings/Excursions

This group brings WCR members together to enjoy shared experiences beyond our regular meetings. From theater performances, movies, and garden tours to museum visits, historic landmarks, wineries, and day trips, these activities offer opportunities for fun, fellowship, discovery, and lifelong learning.

Volunteering

Volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways members give back to the community. Whether assisting local organizations, supporting community events, participating in service projects, or helping those in need, members share their time and talents to make a positive impact. Through volunteer service, we continue our long tradition of friendship, compassion, and community involvement.

Since 1914, the Woman's Club of Royersford has supported education, the arts, and community service. One of the ways we continue that tradition is through our annual Showcase of the Arts program, which recognizes the creativity and accomplishments of local students.
