Social Outings/Excursions

Interest Trip to Terra Pacem Winery

On a beautiful fall day, the Woman’s Club of Royersford enjoyed a visit to Terra Pacem Winery. The picturesque surroundings and welcoming atmosphere made the outing especially memorable for all attendees.

Terra Pacem Winery is owned by Amy Lobben and her husband, Andrew Marcus. Both Amy and Andrew serve as professors at the University of Oregon. Their shared passion for winemaking inspired them to find the winery, but their mission extends far beyond producing quality wines. The couple established Terra Pacem to create meaningful opportunities for their son and others in the community with developmental disabilities.

All wines produced at Terra Pacem originate from Oregon. The grapes are grown, harvested, and bottled in the region, ensuring authentic Oregonian flavor in every bottle. Amy Lobben specializes in geography, while Andrew Marcus focuses on environmental sciences. Together, they have combined their academic interests and love for winemaking to foster an inclusive community, providing purposeful work for individuals with disabilities.
